GREENVILLE, N.C. – After three games out on the road, the East Carolina soccer team returns home to host the Temple Owls on Thursday at Johnson Stadium. Kicking off at 7 p.m., the game is free to attend for fans and will be available for streaming on ESPN+ with Zach Berly and Emily Gray on the call.

There will also be a t-shirt giveaway for the first 150 fans in attendance for the Pirates' Pink Game.

Last Time Out
The Pirates enter Thursday's match after an enormous win at South Florida last time out. The win was the first over the Bulls since 2004 and the first ever in Tampa. Lucy Fazackerley had the winner on a Catherine Holbrook assist before Abby Sowa powered home a late penalty to provide a little comfort. Defensively, the team was excellent once again with Maeve English and Maggie Leland combining for the shutout.

Scouting the Owls
Temple enters the game looking for some consistency. The Owls dopped a 3-0 result to Charlotte at home in their last match and enter the contest with the Pirates at 2-7-3 and 0-3-1 on the road. The team has only scored seven goals on the season with Beky Myers' three goals leading the way.

Series History
The Pirates and Owls have met nine times throughout their histories with a 5-2-2 margin for ECU. The Pirates took the 2022 edition of the series 2-1 with Carsen Parker scoring both goals in the win, including the game-winning penalty kick in the 75th minute.
