GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina soccer team is back out on the road on Thursday for a 7 p.m. battle with No. 14 Duke at Koskinen Stadium. The game will be available for streaming on ACC Network Extra.

Last Time Out
The Pirates kept their winning streak going with their fourth straight (fifth-straight unbeaten) in their 3-1 win over High Point. Lindsey Aiken opened the scoring in the game, late in the first half, and was quickly followed up by a rebound strike from Ella Steck. The goals were the first and second of their respective careers. Fittingly, the third goal of the game was the icing on the cake it it was Jazmin Ferguson's third career goal - this time on a perfectly placed cross from Juliana Viera. Defensively, Maeve English may have finally allowed a goal, but she also made five saves and was commanding in net once again to allow only the third goal of the season.

Scouting the Blue Devils
Duke enters the game with a little added motivation after taking a 4-0 defeat on the road against USC. So far on the year, the Blue Devils are 2-2 with both losses coming to ranked opponents. Kat Rader leads the team, scoring three of Duke's five goals on the year so far. Rader has taken 11 shots with six of them coming on frame. Defensively, Leah Freeman has played every minute in net with a save percentage of .529 while facing 30 shots.

Series History
The Pirates and Blue Devils are meeting for third year in a row - which also happens to be the third meeting between the teams all time. Duke has taken both matchups, but the game was plenty close last year with Sophie Jones scoring the winner from distance early in the 1-0 contest.
