GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina women's basketball team will remain on the road on Sunday as they take on the South Florida Bulls at 12 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPNU with Roy Philpott and Brooke Weisbrod on the call.

Last Time Out
The Pirates survived a scare from Florida Atlantic on Thursday evening. After leading by 15 with just over five minutes left in the game, the Pirates saw the Owls storm back into the game to tie things up with a minute remaining. ECU used gutsy plays from both Wyche twins, Morgan Moseley, Karina Gordon and Danae McNeal to take the lead back and ice it from there. McNeal led all scorers with her 32 points in the ballgame.

Scouting the South Florida
The Bulls enter the game on an uncharacteristic three-game slide. Normally dominant in the league, the team has dropped all three games to AAC newcomers in Rice, UTSA and North Texas. Still, the Bulls enter with a winning record (11-9) and have weapons aplenty with Vittoria Blasigh and Romi Levy both scoring in double figures while getting meaningful contributions from up and down their roster, including Evelien Lutje Schipolt who is putting up 6.8 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.

Series History
The Pirates and Bulls first met back in 1985 and played twice in that decade before not meeting again until 2002. From there, it has been a regular series with USF holding a 13-6 edge all-time, including a 72-48 win in Tampa a season ago.
