October 31, 2024 | Cross Country
GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina cross country team is set to compete at the 2024 American Athletic Conference Championships on Friday evening at L.W. Clapp Park in Wichita, Kan.
Â
The meet will be available for streaming on ESPN+ with the women's 6K race beginning at 5:05 p.m. and the men's 8K taking place at 5:50 p.m. Live results will be available from AthleticLIVE.
"I'm excited to see how we attack the course," said coach Jon Debogory. "Every competition we're competing stronger than the prior one."Â
The team will be looking to improve upon a seventh-place finish on the women's side and a men's ninth-place outing at the conference championships last season. Alyssa Zack and Colin McCauley were the Pirates top finishers in that meet with 25th- and 49th-place finishes, setting the team up for a new pair of top finishers in 2024.
