Coach Williams' Comment on Madison Rizzo:Â "Madison caught our eye with some results from the summer of 2023. Her top 10 in the prestigious Beth Daniel Junior Azalea, runner-up in the CGA Jimmy Anderson really stood out to us. The more we watched her play the more impressed we became with the potential she has to make a huge impact in our golf program. The work she is doing with her coach, Director of Instruction at Lansdowne Brian Rogish has made a big impact in her development, and we are excited to have Madison join our program."
Coach Carson's Comment on Madison Rizzo: "Madison's natural athleticism and golf swing fundamentals first sparked our interest. Madison has great potential, and a strong determination to excel both in golf and the classroom. We are extremely excited for Madison to join Pirate Nation and have no doubt she will positively impact ECU Women's Golf."
Madison Rizzo's comment: "I chose East Carolina University after seeing the connections between the players and the coaches. I also wanted to be part of a team that had an established culture with coaches that could help me grow and improve as a player."

Isabella Taylor-Stokes (Wilmslow, England/Stockport Grammar School)
Won the 2024 Cheshire Girls County championships for the third time shooting four-under par, which qualified her for the Justin Rose Telegraph Junior Golf Championship in Portugal in December … won the 2022 Royal Birkdale Ladies Scratch shooting seven-under par over two rounds … top 10 finish in the U-18 2024 English Girls Open … second in the U-16 2022 Faldo Series Grand Final … reached final qualifying of the Women's Open 2024.Â
Â
Coach Williams' Comment on Isabella Taylor-Stokes: "Very fortunate to have Isabella joining our program. Having the opportunity to watch her compete in England this summer in the British Girls Championship was great and I came away very impressed with her composure in competition and her game, especially her length off the tee which was a priority in this recruiting class. We look forward to the wonderful impact Isabella will have on our team!"
Coach Carson's Comment on Isabella Taylor-Stokes: "Thrilled to welcome Isabella to the Pirate Golf family! Isabella's effortless power and strong ball striking abilities are huge upsides to her game, something we have been looking for in recent recruiting classes. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Isabella and feel that she is going to be a wonderful addition to Pirate Nation!"
Isabella Taylor-Stokes' comment: "I chose to commit to ECU following a really enjoyable visit to Greenville, where I was amazed by the facilities at the university. Most of all I felt welcomed by the coaches and the team, and I can't wait to be part of Pirate Nation!"
