
Pirates Set To Tee Off Spring Season At Paradise Invitational Monday

Boca Raton, Fla. – The East Carolina women's golf team is set to tee off its spring season Feb. 5-6 as the Pirates will compete in the Paradise Invitational hosted by Florida Atlantic.

The two-day, 54-hole tournament will be held at the par-72, 6,204-yard Osprey Point Golf Club in Boca Raton, Fla. The field will be comprised of 13 schools including Denver, Wisconsin, Rutgers, UTSA, BYU, Florida International, Vanderbilt, Notre Dame, Iowa, South Florida and Indiana.

The Pirates will field a lineup on Monday comprised of freshman Nicole Nash, junior Andrea Miralles, freshman Ella Stalvey, sophomore Danielle Modder and redshirt sophomore Macie Burcham.

Modder led the Pirates in the fall with a scoring average of 72.53 and carded her third career top-five finish with a 1-under par 209 at the Edisto Island Invitational. The Pirates' best finish in the fall was at the Edisto Island Invitational where the team finished third after shooting 22-over par 862.
