Pirates Finish Third At River Landing Classic

Wallace, N.C. – The East Carolina women's golf team finished third out of 11 teams (23-over par 887) to conclude its final day of competition at the River Landing Classic on Tuesday afternoon.
The two-day, 54-hole tournament was contested at the par-72, 6,118-yard River Landing Country Club.
Oda Sofie Kilsti finished fifth as an individual, finishing three-over par 219 while Marta Perez led the Pirates' team with a sixth-place tie (four-over par 220). Perez was one of four Pirates in the final top-20 on the player leaderboard followed by Ella Stalvey (t-8th, 221), Danielle Modder (t-14th, 223) and Macie Burcham (t-16th, 224). Nicole Nash shot 12-over par 228 to tie for 23rd.
Andrea Miralles shot 16-over par 232 to tie for 34th followed by Grayson Warren (44th, 235) to round out ECU's individual competitors.
James Madison shot 17-over par 881 to capture team honors, finishing five strokes ahead of Elon. Host UNCW finished 10 strokes behind the Pirates for fourth place and High Point finished with a final team card of 36-over 900 for fifth place.
