
Nash Tied For First, Pirates Tied For Second After Day One Of Ironwood Invitational

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina women's golf team is currently tied for second place after a first-round score of 298 and a current score of 7-over par after the first day of competition at the Ironwood Invitational.
The tournament is being contested at the par-72, 6,371-yard Ironwood Golf and Country Club.
Due to darkness, round two play was suspended and will resume at 8 a.m. tomorrow morning. Round three will begin following the conclusion of round two.
Nicole Nash is currently tied for first after shooting 70 and 73 in her first two rounds for a score of 1-under par 143. Zoe Allaux and Oda Sofie Kilsti are the other two Pirates in the top 10 on the player leaderboard and Macie Burcham is tied for 20th.
The Pirates are currently two strokes behind Delaware and four strokes ahead of James Madison.
