GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina soccer team suffered its second straight loss, 2-0, at the hands of UTSA on Thursday night in Johnson Stadium.

Tyler Coker opened the scoring for the Roadrunners in the 22^nd minute, scoring from a looping shot from just outside the eighteen. Sasjah Dade doubled the lead in the 55^th minute after some physical play in the box.

The Pirates outshot the Roadrunners 19-6 including six from Erica Roberts and three from Annabelle Abbott. The Pirates outshot their opponent in every game this season.

However, save for an Abbott shot off the crossbar early and a near miss from Roberts late, many of the team's chances never gravely threatened the UTSA goal.

Notables

Despite the result the Pirates had several positives, the most noteworthy being that Abby Sowa played in her 50^th consecutive match without leaving the pitch.
Maeve English moved into solo ninth place in program history with her 76^th start in goal.
On the other side, the Pirates have now gone 463 minute and 59 seconds without scoring a goal in Johnson Stadium.
