Asheboro, N.C. – The East Carolina women's golf team carded a second-place finish at the Tot Hill Farm Invitational on Tuesday afternoon as the Pirates shot 13-over par 877 as a team.

The tournament was hosted by the College of Charleston at the par-72, 6,023-yard Tot Hill Farm Golf Club.

Nicole Nash and Marta Perez led the way for the Pirates, shooting 3-over par 219 to tie for sixth. Danielle Modder and Lisa Forss each carded a tie at 10th with a final scorecard of 6-over par 222 followed by Macie Burcham who tied for 16th after shooting 8-over par 224. Grayson Warren carded a career-low of 18-over par 234 to tie for 35th as an individual.

"Very pleased with how we performed this week!" director of golf Kevin Williams said. "We had the low round or shared the low round two out of the three tournament rounds. Excited to be home next week with the Pirate Collegiate Classic at Greenville Country Club."

Charleston (867) finished 10 strokes ahead of the Pirates to earn team honors and Coastal Carolina (889), Elon (900) and Gardner-Webb (905) rounded out the rest of the top five teams.
