ECU Set To Host Pirate Collegiate Classic On Monday

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina women's golf team will look to keep its strong start to the season going on Monday morning when the Pirates tee off the first round of the Pirate Collegiate Classic at the par-72, 5,991-yard Greenville Country Club.

Teams will play 36 holes on Monday with tee times beginning at 7:36 a.m. and the final 18 holes will take place on Tuesday.

East Carolina will seek to claim Pirate Collegiate Classic team honors for the sixth straight time and win the seventh straight fall tournament it has hosted since 2015-16. ECU won the Lady Pirate Intercollegiate in the fall of 2015 before the tournament was renamed the Pirate Collegiate Classic.

ECU will field a lineup of Marta Perez, Nicole Nash, Danielle Modder, Lisa Forss and Macie Burcham. Grayson Warren, Zoe Allaux, Andrea Miralles and Ella Stalvey will compete as individuals.

The Pirates will compete against a 15-team field comprised of Barton, Gardner-Webb, High Point, Jacksonville State, Longwood, Memphis, N.C. A&T, Radford, Richmond, Troy, UMES, UNC Greensboro, West Georgia, William & Mary and Wofford.
