GREENVILLE, N.C. – Emma Jackson went 2-for-4 at the plate with two RBI and Kendall Frost recorded a complete game in the circle as East Carolina defeated Memphis, 5-1, in the series opener between the two teams on Friday at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium.
Kanisha Anderson added two hits and an RBI while Anna Sawyer and Gabby Fowler each plated a run for the Pirates (21-16, 7-6 AAC) who controlled most of the game after scoring four runs in the second inning.Â
