PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – East Carolina senior Philip Linberg Bondestad won his first collegiate tournament shooting a 6-under par 204 at the Temple Invitational. The two-day event was being played at the par 70, 6,951-yard 1912 Club.

Bondestad, who won the event by five strokes, posted rounds of 69, 66 and 68 which included 14 total birdies, including four during final round play along with three bogies and 11 pars. Playing as an individual, Junior Drew O'Neal claimed a share of 23rd with rounds of 72, 73 and 74 for a 9-over par 219.

Junior Adam Lennermark finished tied for 31st with a score of 221 (11-over) posting rounds of 76, 74 and 71, while senior Davis DeLille took a share of 37th place with rounds of 73, 75 and 75 for a 13-over 223. Rounding out the Pirates' roster were junior Nathan O'Neal (79-72-74) and freshman Oscar Crowe (78-72-75) who claimed a share of 47th with scores of 225 (15-over).

As a team, ECU shot 869 (29-over) shooting rounds of 296, 284 and 289 finishing tied for fifth with Gardner-Webb. The Pirates are back in action on Sept. 29 when they play host to the Ironwood Collegiate Classic at Ironwood Golf and Country Club.
