Pirates Open Spring Campaign with VCU Saturday

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina women's tennis team is set to open its 2026 spring campaign on Saturday at 1 p.m. as they welcome the VCU Rams to River Birch Tennis Complex.
The Pirates enter the 2026 spring season, now the team competition period of the NCAA calendar, after a 7-13 campaign in 2025. That season featured a meeting with VCU, a 4-3 loss.Â
Saturday's match is the first of 16 in the regular season, culminating with the American Conference Championships on April 16 in Houston, Texas.
