GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina women's basketball team returns home to Minges Coliseum on Tuesday at 6 p.m. to take on Florida Atlantic. Tickets are still available for purchase for the game as low as $7 for adults and $4 for youth.

Last Time Out
The Pirates got 19-point outings from Kennedy Fauntleroy to earn a road win over Temple, 79-73, on Saturday afternoon in Philadelphia. ECU held off a tough Owls squad, taking over in the third quarter after ending the first half locked at 36 to pull away for a win. Four players scored in double figures for the Pirates with Jayla Hearp and Savannah Brooks tacking on 14 and 13 points, respectively. The victory was just the second ever on the road against Temple (2023).

Scouting Florida Atlantic
The Owls enter the game with a 12-13 record and a 6-7 mark in league play, having won their last three, including a 61-55 decision over Tulsa on Saturday in which Florida Atlantic forced 23 turnovers and four players scored in double figures, paced by Destyne Jackson's 16. On the year, Erin Rodgers paces the group in scoring with 10.1 points per game, being the only Owls in double figures while Vivian Onugha's 6.2 rebounds is a team high to go with her 8.9 points. As a team, it's a spread effort among a good-shooting group which averages 6.6 made threes per game and a league-high 24.6 bench points per outing. Those 24.6 bench points per game are 42nd in the NCAA.

The Pirates and Owls have met six times since 2002, and three times since becoming American Conference foes in 2024. ECU leads the series 5-1, including an 80-70 victory in the most recent meeting last February in Boca Raton, Fla. ECU was led by Khia Miller's 18 points in that game while Amiya Joyner contributed a 17-point, 10-rebound double-double. The Owls were led by Ta'ziah Jenks' 22 points, including 6-9 from three-point range, leading Florida Atlantic to 13 made triples as a team.
