Charlotte, N.C. – East Carolina returns to the court on Saturday looking to rebound from its toughest loss of the season when the Pirates face in-state rival Charlotte at Dale F. Halton Arena.
The game is slated to tip at noon ET and will be nationally televised on ESPN2 with Eric Rothman (play-by-play) and Paul Biancardi (analyst) on the call. Pirate fans can also tune in to 107.9 WNCT FM, 94.3 The Game or download the IBX app to hear Jim Szoke call the action.
Jordan Riley leads the Pirates in scoring with 23.7 points per game (1st in American, t-2nd in NCAA) after becoming the first Pirate in 32 years to score 40 in a game. Giovanni Emejuru adds 13.5 points and 9.4 rebounds per game while Demitri Gardner is averaging 11.3 points per game on 50 percent shooting from deep.
