W.A. Myatt was hired as Program Coordinator for Men's Basketball Administration in October, 2017 after spending two seasons with the Pirates’ basketball program as a graduate assistant manager. He serves as an operational support staff member that works as the liaison between the student-athletes and the financial aid office, while assisting with compliance, travel and admission processes. He also aids in entertaining recruits and their families during official visits.

As a graduate assistant at ECU, Myatt assisted with student-athlete academic development, recruiting database maintenance and preparing detailed scouting reports on opposing teams – with both film and statistical analysis. He also helped conduct individual skill development of personnel and participates on the scout team in addition to overseeing equipment inventory and distribution. Myatt also assisted in the administration of coach Lebo’s basketball camps the past two summers.

Myatt first joined the program after working under former high school National Coach-of-the-Year Dave Lebo, father of head coach Jeff Lebo, at D.H. Conley High School in Winterville, N.C.

Prior to joining the program, the Erwin, N.C. native graduated with honors from ECU in 2015 with a bachelor’s of science degree in physical education. He earned his MBA from ECU two years later.
