A four-year letterwinner who was part of the state powerhouse Caravel Academy squad that entered the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association tournament with the No. 1 ranking all four years ... Helped the Buccaneers advance to the championship game four times, claiming the title with a 2-0 victory over Milford as a senior ... Caravel had fallen to Milford 6-2 the year before, to Sussex Central 4-0 in 2008 and to Sussex Tech 6-0 her freshman year ... An honorable mention all-state selection at third base as a senior ... Chosen to play in Delaware's Blue-Gold all-star game following final campaign ... Junior year, made the honorable mention all-state squad as an outfielder ... | My favorite softball memory is: | Winning the state championship my senior year of high school. We played the same team my junior year when we lost. Going into my senior year, we lost seven seniors from the year before, making us 'not as good.' |
| If I could change one thing about softball it would be: | Make it so you could run in either direction (toward first or third) after hitting like you can in kickball. You could really stump some people. |
