Hayley Hollis was named the Director of Basketball Operations in 2018 after spending the 2017-18 season as the team’s video coordinator.

As video coordinator, Hollis handled film exchange and distribution for the coaching staff. She also played an important role in the program’s social media efforts.Â
Hollis came to ECU after spending the 2016-17 season as the varsity girls basketball coach at Blair High School in Silver Spring, Md. She was named the 4A/3A East Division Coach of the Year after guiding the team to a 15-8 record, a five-game improvement from the previous year. Prior to BHS,
Hollis coached at The Bullis School in Potomac, Md., where she led the Bulldogs girls varsity team for two seasons. She also made stops at Sherwood High School and the Academy of the Holy Cross as an associate head coach. Off the court, Hollis was responsible for managing team budgets, organizing practices and preparing scouting reports based on live reports and film break downs. Hollis began her career in basketball as a national talent evaluator for Tri State Report in 2013. She was also a health and physical education teacher at the Bullis School from 2014-16.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in elementary education with a minor in exercise science from Salisbury in 2009.
