Alex Frazier was named the Assistant to the Director of Operations in July 2020 after spending the 2019-20 season as a graduate assistant with the team.
Following a successful four-year playing career for the Pirates, Frazier spent the 2019-20 season as a graduate assistant student coach with the team. Frazier helped assist the Pirate coaching staff with player workouts as well as managing the team’s student managers and scout players. She also managed video and film exchange with opponents.
Upon finishing her decorated playing career in 2018-19, Frazier left ECU with 112 games played, tying her for 17th in program history. She is one of just 13 players to lead ECU in assists during multiple seasons and racked up 284 assists during her career. The Lawrenceville, Ga., native was named ECU’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2017 and MVP in 2018.
Frazier graduated from ECU in 2018 with her Bachelor’s of Science as a Health Fitness Specialist. She earned her Master’s of Science degree in Sports Management from ECU’s College of Health and Human Performance in May 2020.
