AJ Papagno, who joined the ECU Athletics Ticket Office in March 2023, currently serves as the associate director of ticket services.

In his current role, Papagno works as the ticketing supervisor for the Pirates men's basketball and baseball teams. He is also responsible for managing and scheduling the ticket office's student staff as well as training them on the Paciolan ticketing platform. Papagno has also assisted the ticket office with various events including the 2024 Military Bowl and 2024 Greenville Regional.

Papagno began his full-time career in the Pac-12 as the assistant director of ticket operations at the University of Arizona. During his time in Tucson, Papagno oversaw all ticketing and operations for the Wildcats' women's basketball, volleyball, and track & field teams.

A native of Ocala, Florida, Papagno graduated from Bob Jones University with a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication in 2019. He also received a master's degree in sport management from Liberty University in 2022.
