Lindsay Arnold joined the East Carolina University Student-Athlete Academic Services staff as an Academic Coordinator in October 2021.
In her current role, Lindsay primarily works with Pirate football student-athletes, handling a myriad of responsibilities that include conducting weekly academic meetings, maintaining accurate NCAA eligibility records, and delivering individualized academic support to ensure student-athlete success. She also leads the planning and execution of the Summer Bridge Program, designed to help incoming freshman student-athletes transition to ECU, and she supervises the Class Attendance Monitors for football.
Prior to ECU, Lindsay founded Mental Reps, LLC, a private mental performance consulting business. She previously served as a consultant for a sport psychology group practice, Sterling Sport Mindset, where she worked extensively with youth athletes to enhance performance through mental skills training.
Lindsay earned her bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology from West Virginia University in 2018. While at WVU, she played club volleyball, served as a peer advisor, and worked as a student-athlete tutor. She went on to complete her master’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sport and Exercise Psychology at Georgia Southern University in 2020. While in Statesboro, Ga. Lindsay interned as both a Learning Specialist and Academic Advisor for football, while also providing mental performance coaching to two DI teams.
Lindsay is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) and an active leader in the Women Leaders in Sports national organization, where she co-leads the Mental Health in Sport Circle.
Lindsay lives in Winterville with her husband, son, and their sweet golden retriever.
