Amanda Duffy Named C-USA Player of the Week

Duffy, a senior forward for ECU had two solid performances for the Pirates this past weekend leading the Pirates to two C-USA victories. In Friday's game against South Florida, Duffy scored two goals to help the Pirates to a 3-2 win.
Sunday's game win over UAB, Duffy accounted for both goals, thus becoming ECU's career goals-scored leader. Duffy now has 28 career goals and surpasses Kim Sandhoff who had 27 goals scored from 1997-2000.
Duffy, a three-year letterwinner for the Pirates, now holds five ECU records, including two career records and three single-season records.
The Pirates take the road to face Liberty University on Thursday and return home to Bunting Field October 11 at 12 p.m. to take on Cincinnati.
