
ECU Men Finish Fourth at C-USA Indoor Championships

The meet was held at the University of Houston in the Yeoman Field House.
The ECU men finished with 67 points. Houston won both the men's and women's titles.
Julien Dunkley was among the Pirates' individual event champs as he won the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.64.
Jeremy Carter earned third in the 200-meter dash (22.10) and second in the 60-meter hurdles (8.02).
B.J. Henderson took third in the second heat of the 400m (47.57), Domonick Richmond placed fourth (48.31), and Michael Hillian placed eighth(49.29).
In the distance corp, Ricardo Bell earned fourth in the 800m (1:56.28). Kyle MacKenzie earned fourth in the second heat of the mile (4:19.89) and the distance medley team took fifth (10:11.37).
In the field events, De'Von Carter won the weight throw (58-01.75) and placed fifth in the shot put (44-04.75). Renaldo Isaac earned third in the long jump (23-00.50) and Derrick Carr placed sixth in the triple jump (42.03.50).
Pat Martin earned 4373 points in the heptathlon for the Pirates.
The women placed 13th with 11 points over the two days of competition. In the distance, Tara DeBrielle finished in eighth place in the 800m (2:21.49).
Caitlin Littlefield earned eight in the mile (5:23.62). The distance medley group earned fourth place (12:08.59).
In the pole vault Tammie Mentzel set a new varisty record and took fourth (11-00.75) and Nicole Marchewka placed tenth (10-02.00).
Estrella Coppin placed second in the second flight of the triple jump (39-03.00).
The Pirates head to Iowa State for the Last Chance Meet next weekend.
