
Women's Soccer To Face Louisville In C-USA Tournament

GREENVILLE, N.C. ? The East Carolina women's soccer team is preparing to take on Louisville this afternoon in the first round of the Conference USA Tournament in Saint Louis, Mo. at Robert R. Hermann Stadium. Game time is scheduled for 5 p.m.
The Pirates (8-8-2, 6-3-1) enter the tournament as the No. 4 seed after claiming the tie breakers against Louisville (11-4-3, 5-2-3), the fifth seed. It is the third time in the Pirates four years in C-USA that ECU has made the tournament.
ECU is in the midst of its longest winning streak in the programs history, five games, after defeating USF on Oct. 29, 2-1. Junior forward Meghan McCallion scored both goals for the Pirates against the Bulls to secure a .500 regular season. On the year, McCallion has scored 10 goals which leads the team.
