
Men and Women Swimmers Place Second at C-USA Meet

HOUSTON -- East Carolina's teams both finished second at the Conference USA Women's Swimming and Diving Championship and Men's Invitational on Saturday at the the University of Houston's Campus Recreation & Wellness Center Natatorium.
On the women's side, the Lady Pirates finished behind league champion TCU, while the ECU men also came in second-best to the Horned Frogs.
ECU's Diane Parker was named Swimmer of the Meet for the second consecutive year.
Individually on Saturday, East Carolina's Holly Williams picked up a second-place finish (2:03.86) in the 200 backstroke. Kate Gordon placed third in the 200 fly (2:03.33).
On the men's side, East Carolina's Casey Cronin finished in second place (2:04.85) in the 200 breaststroke.
