Pirate 4x400 Relay Team Claims Second Place At 49er Classic

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Pirates' 4x400 squad, comprised of Michael Hillian, B.J. Henderson, DeAndre Hyman, and Darrus Cofield, recorded a second place finish at the Charlotte 49er Classic with a time of 3:09.58 this past weekend in Charlotte, N.C.
The 4x100 relay team claimed a share of first place with Saint Augustine's College with a time of 40.83. Also recording medalist honors were Ronald Polland, who finished second in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 53.32 and Trent Fuchs claimed fourth place in the 800-meter run (1:53.61).
The Pirates turn their attention to the Florida Relays on March 26-27 in Gainesville, Florida.
