
Pirate 4x100 Relay Claims Fourth At Florida Relays

GAINESVILLE, FLA. -- The Pirates' 4x100 squad, comprised of Reginald Williams, DeAndre Hyman, Thomas Lewis, and B.J. Henderson, recorded a fourth place finish at the Florida Relays with a time of 40.36 and qualified for the NCAA Regionals on Saturday.
The 4x400 relay team claimed a third place finish with a time of 3:05.93, which was also a NCAA Regional qualifying mark.
In the 400-meter dash, B.J. Henderson and Darrus Cofield placed in the top 10, with Henderson finishing eighth and Cofield placing ninth. Ricky Bell placed sixth in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:52.74.
The Pirates will return to action April 2-3 at the Duke Invitational in Durham, N.C.
