
Manuse Named Second Team All-Southeast Region

During the season, Manuse set an East Carolina and Conference USA single season record for doubles with 26, while also leading the Pirates in home runs (6), RBIs (55) and slugging percentage (.604). In starting 72 games for ECU, Manuse compiled a .360 batting average and helped the Pirates post 47 wins, the fifth most victories in school history.
She is one of nine C-USA players to boast all-region honors. Manuse is joined on the All-Southeast Region Second Team by a trio of C-USA players, each of USF: pitcher Leigh Ann Ellis, first baseman Carmella Liwag, and second baseman Katrina Dowd. USF's Holly Groves was a first team All-Southeast Region selection. Houston's Kristen Glowacz and Southern Miss' Auriel Jenkins were each named second team All-South Region, while the DePaul duo of Saskia Roberson and Sarah Martz were voted first team All-Mideast Region.
