
Manuse And Nichols Earn Academic Honors

Manuse, a senior from Chantilly, Va., owns a 3.6 GPA in biology and has been named to ECU's Director of Athletics Honor Roll each semester. She was recently named ECU's Most Outstanding Female Scholar-Athlete for 2004-05. She will continue her postgraduate education at Duke University where she will pursue her master's degree in physical therapy.
Nichols owns a 3.33 GPA in physical fitness and activity and is a Conference USA Honor Roll recipient. A member of the ECU Director of Athletics Honor Roll, Nichols has also contributed numerous hours of community service participating in clinics throughout Eastern North Carolina working with young girls on the fundamentals of the game.
The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) selects Academic All-America teams in 12 programs: football, women's volleyball, men's soccer, women's soccer, men's basketball, women's basketball, baseball, softball, men's track and field/cross country, women's track and field/cross country, men's at-large and women's at-large.
