Nichols, a second team All-Conference USA infielder, earned first team all-region honors at designated player. She recorded career-highs in 12 offensive categories, including batting average (.339), home runs (12) and RBI (40); ranking among the C-USA top 10 in all three aforementioned categories.
Manuse, a first team all-conference player, was named second team All-Southeast Region for a second consecutive year. She led the Pirates in numerous offensive categories, while leading C-USA in RBI (59), doubles (21) and on-base percentage (.520). Manuse ranked second in the league in home runs with 14, while drawing a school and conference record 55 walks.
Harrell finished the season with an overall record of 29-11, ranking among the nation's top six in wins, to earn all-region recognition for the first time in her career. En route to posting the most wins by an ECU pitcher since 1993, Harrell struck out a school record 331 batters during the season, eclipsing the ECU career mark for strikeouts. A second team all-conference pitcher, she finished the season with 499 career strikeouts.
Eleven players have represented ECU on the All-Southeast Region teams since 1999. Nichols is the seventh player to earn first team honors, while Manuse is the just the second repeat performer.
