
Littman Two Strokes Off Lead At Myrtle Beach Classic

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Amber Littman carded an one-under par 71 (36-35) in her first collegiate tournament and currently sits in a tie for second place at the 2007 Myrtle Beach Classic. The event is being held at the par-72, 6,136-yard Grande Dunes Resort.
Joining Littman on the leader board are fellow teammates Ana Maria Puche, who shot an even par round of 72 (36-36) for a share of seventh, while Emelie Lind (36-38=74) and Abby Bools (37-37=74) are tied for 18th.
Freshman Collen Estes is tied for 58th after an opening round of 81 (38-43) in her first collegiate event.
Georgia State's Iliska leads the individual standings after firing a three-under 69 (35-34) and stands two strokes ahead of Littman, Steffi Kirchmayr (College of Charleston), Natalia Giraldo (ETSU), Ashley Mylton (UNCG) and Veronika Falathova (Campbell).
In the team portion of the tournament, East Carolina sits in second place (291) just four shots behind Georgia State (287). Rounding out the top five are College of Charleston (295), UNC-Greensboro (297) and UNC-Wilmington (299).
Final round action will begin Tuesday morning at 8 a.m.
