Softball Cancels Remainder Of Pirate Classic

GREENVILLE, N.C. - East Carolina athletic officials have announced the cancellation of the remainder of this weekend's Pirate Softball Classic because of the forecast of inclement weather Saturday and Sunday.
Yesterday at the Classic, East Carolina won both of its games and improved to 9-5 on the season. The Pirates, winners of five in-a-row, will return to the field on Tuesday at Elon for a 4 p.m. game against the Phoenix.
