CONWAY, S.C. - In its first full outdoor meet of the season, the East Carolina track and field program produced a solid showing at the Coastal Carolina Shamrock Invitational at the Coastal Carolina Track this past weekend. In the shot put, adding to Aliotta's school-record mark, Rowland recorded a 16.24 to take fourth-place while Aaron Zakula fell just behind Hodapp's mark in the pole vault as he tied for eighth (4.45m).
Rounding out the field events, Austin Lewis and Tiffany Harris captured seventh and 10th-place, respectively, while Drew Kanz and Valeria Moore were second and fourth in the high jump to complement Camelia Morman and Miles Coats' second and seventh place results in the triple jump.
