Softball Adds Two At Hampton

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina softball team announced Wednesday the addition of an April 7th doubleheader at Hampton. The first game is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at Tiny Laster Complex.
The cancellation of the Tulsa three-game series earlier this season due to snow allowed East Carolina to add the contests against the Lady Pirates of Hampton.
After a Tuesday sweep of UNC Greensboro, East Carolina (17-12, 2-1 C-USA), winners of nine of the past 10 games, travels to Orlando for a pivotal series at UCF (22-12, 7-1 C-USA). The teams play a doubleheader Friday starting at 3:00 p.m. The Saturday finale is set to begin at noon. The Knights enter this weekend in first place in the league standings while the Pirates are tied for second.
