GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina softball team is now one week away from boarding the bus to head to Athens, Ga., for the season-opening Red & Black Showcase Feb. 11-13. Seniors Toni Paisley and Sissy Jimenez will join reigning National Fastpitch Coaches Association Mideast Region Coaching Staff-of-the-Year honorees Tracey Kee and Natalie Kozlowski on Thursday, Feb. 3 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. to answer remaining questions about the upcoming season.
Last week, the Pirates were picked to finish second in the Conference USA preseason poll and Paisley was named as the C-USA Preseason Pitcher-of-the-Year.
