GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina softball team's first game of a doubleheader at Houston on April 14 will be televised live on the FOX Sports Network, according to an announcement by Conference USA officials. The contest will begin at 3:00 p.m. ET inside the Cougar Softball Stadium.
It will be the Pirates third television appearance in the last three seasons as their Conference USA Championship victories in 2010 and 2011 were broadcast on the CBS Sports Network. The last time ECU had a regular season contest on TV was in 2008, when all three games at Houston were on the CBS Sports Network.
East Carolina (7-6) returns to action Saturday, March 3 in Fullerton, Calif., against California and Northwestern. The Pirates face the No. 3 Golden Bears (11-0) at 12:00 p.m. ET and the Wildcats (5-8) at 4:30 p.m. ET as part of the DeMarini Invitational.
