How did you get started in softball? I always played sports growing up (cheerleading, soccer, basketball, softball) and something just clicked with softball.
What are some of your routines on game day or during games? I always straighten my hair and wear the same bow for home games and a different one for away games. I also do long throws prior to warming up pitchers and do a special stretch.
What is your favorite softball memory? Beating a rival team and ending their 14-year streak of making it to the state championship game.
If you could change one thing about softball, what would it be and why? More physical contact (haha)
What is the one piece of advice you would give to young girls who want to play? I would tell them to never give up and always chase their dreams. Hard work does pay off in the long run.
I wear my uniform number because: My brother wore the same number and I've always wanted to be like him.
One thing about you that would surprise most people reading this: I was a cheerleader for eight years.
