East Carolina Tied For Ninth At Lady Paladin Invitational

Second Round Results l Round Three Tee Times
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Following an opening round of 305, East Carolina bounced back with a 5-over par 293 round Tuesday and is currently tied for ninth place at the 43rd Lady Paladin Invitational. The three-day, 54-hole event is being held at the par-72, 6,266-yard Furman University Golf Course.
The Pirates (13-0) hold a share of ninth with Coastal Carolina at 22-over (598) and stand 15 stokes out of third place. Host Furman (2-under/574) leads the event by nine shots over Texas Tech and Wake Forest, who are tied for second at 583 (7-over).
Nicoline Engstroem Skaug leads the Pirates following rounds of 77 and 71 and is tied for 20th heading into final round action. The Oslo, Norway native is 4-over par (148) through 36 holes where she carded four birdies and three bogeys during second round action.
Frida Gustafsson Spang (78-71) and Lisa Pettersson (76-73) are tied for 27th at 5-over (149), while Katie Kirk (74-78=152/8-over) and Lane Gakeler (78-79=157/13-over) are tied for 47th and 69th.
Taylor Totland (Furman) leads the 96-person field sitting at 6-under (138) and holds a one-shot lead over Serra Sims (Wake Forest) and Jennifer Peng (Yale).
