Beth Keylon-Randolph to Take Indefinite Leave of Absence

GREENVILLE, N.C. - East Carolina head softball coach Beth Keylon-Randolph has been granted an extended administrative leave of absence due to personal reasons, effective immediately, according to an announcement by director of athletics Jeff Compher on Thursday.
Current assistant coach Steve Jaecks will assume the day-to-day leadership of the program as interim head coach, while graduate assistant coach Alex Fieldhouse will also provide ancillary support.
Keylon-Randolph's leave of absence comes three weeks prior to the start of her third season at the helm of the ECU softball program as opening day is scheduled for Friday, February 6.
