
Frey Earns NSCAA All-Northeast Region Honors

GREENVILLE, N.C. - East Carolina senior women's soccer player Kendall Frey has been named a 2015 All-Northeast Region Third Team selection according to an announcement by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Frey's accolades continue to stockpile after completing a successful final season with the Pirates, as she was named to the All-American Athletic Conference First Team after leading ECU in points (17), assists (5) and tied for tops on the team in goals scored (6), while her five helpers ranked eighth in the league. She became just the third player in program history along with Kim Sandhoff (1997-2000) and Meghan McCallion to earn all-conference recognition in four-straight seasons.
The Chester Springs, Pa., native cracked the top five in multiple categories in the program's record book, closing her career at No. 5 in goals scored (22) and points (53), while tying the school record for assists in a game by helping on all three goals in East Carolina's 3-0 win at UNC Greensboro. She eclipsed 6,000-career minutes played, while tallying 13 game-winning goals, four of which game in 2015.
Frey was named to the All-American Athletic Conference Second Team and the league's all-tournament team in 2014, before being recognized for her achievements in the classroom with a selection to the NSCAA's Scholar All-South Region Team. In 2013, she received an All-Conference USA Third Team nod and was tabbed to the all-tournament team, after being listed to the C-USA All-Freshman Team in 2012.
