GREENVILLE, N.C. – East Carolina Head Women's Golf Coach Kevin Williams has announced the addition of Carley Cox to the program Wednesday afternoon. Cox joins the freshmen trio of Dorthea Forbrigd, Siranon Shoomee and Grace Yatawara who all signed National Letter's of Intent to play golf for the Pirates for the 2016-17 season.
"We are very fortunate to add Carley to our team for the upcoming season" Williams said. "The experience she gained playing in nine tournaments for James Madison University this past year will be valuable to Carley's continued development. She has not been playing competitively very long, but she has been very active in summer tournaments the last three years to get her game ready for collegiate golf. Her athleticism, club head speed and competitive spirit will be a big asset for our team."
