RESULT
ECU snapped a two-game skid with a 93-88 overtime win against in-state rival UNCW Thursday night in its first game under interim coach Michael Perry. ECU Head Coach Jeff Lebo resigned his position Wednesday afternoon.

TURNING POINT
The Pirates scored six unanswered points during a 1:21 of overtime to take an 88-83 lead with 2:15 remaining. Isaac Fleming penetrated the paint for two layups and B.J. Tyson made a pair of free throws, while UNCW missed a pair of 3-point attempts.

ECU PLAYER-OF-THE-GAME
Tyson scored a career-high 30 points on 11-of-21 shooting from the field and 6-of-9 at the free throw line … He grabbed six rebounds and made two 3s while playing 43 minutes … Tyson sent the game into overtime by sinking a free throw with five seconds left in regulation … He scored the game's final two points on a pair of free throws … He is the first Pirate to score 30 points in a game since Akeem Richmond against UTSA in the 2014 Conference USA Championship tournament … Tyson moved into sole possession of eighth-place on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,239 points.

UNCW PLAYER-OF-THE-GAME
Devontae Cacok scored a career-high 35 points on 16-of-19 shooting from the field, while grabbing 12 rebounds.

KEY PERFORMERS
Jabari Craig grabbed double digit rebounds for the second time this season, finishing with a career and game-high 14 boards … Isaac Fleming posted his second straight 20-point game, pouring in 21 points on 9-of-17 shooting … Shawn Williams added 15 points in 21 minutes off the bench … Dimitri Spasojevic scored double figures for the second time this season, netting 10 points … Kentrell Barkley posted a career-best three blocked shots.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
It was only the second overtime game in series history and first since the double overtime affair in 1993 … ECU posted its best shooting half of the season, connecting on 52.8 percent of its first half attempts (19-36) … The Pirates' 48 first half points were the most they scored in any half this year … ECU scored a season-best 50 points in the paint … The Pirates made more free throws (20) than the Seahawks attempted (17) … The Pirates topped 90 points for the first time since scoring 92 in a triple overtime loss to Tulane in 2016 .. ECU's 93 points were the second-most by the Pirates in the 65-game series history against UNCW (99 at UNCW, 12/3/08).
