ZIONSVILLE, Ind. --- ECU sophomore Blake Taylor posted his third career top-10 finish to lead the Pirates to a sixth-place finish at the season-opening Wolf Run Intercollegiate. Taylor finished tied for seventh at 7-over-par 220 (71-72-77).
COACH'S QUOTE
"We definitely had some positives this week starting with Blake's top ten finish. We also had a lot of birdies as a team on a tough golf course. Unfortunately we had a lot of double bogies and triples which kept us out of a top three finish. Our players did learn a lot this week and fortunately we get to take those lessons to competition again as we prepare to go to Duke this Friday." - ECU Head Coach Andrew Sapp
