DURHAM, N.C. – ECU sophomore Patrick Stephenson fired a career-low 3-under par (213) to lead ECU to an eighth-place finish at the eighth annual Rod Myers Invitational at the Duke University Golf Club. Stephenson claimed 14^th-place after posting rounds of 69, 71 and 73.

"We got off to a nice start after round one, but round two really hurt us shooting over par when so many team shot under par in the afternoon. Today the middle of our round was a struggle, but the guys battled to finish the round well on the last few holes. Stephenson posted the lowest 54-hole score of his career
ECU sophomore Blake Taylor recorded the Pirates' first eagle of the season with a three on the par-5 No.7 Sunday. He improved his score each round shooting 78, 75 and 71.
