GREENVILLE, N.C. – The ECU women's soccer team (5-5-2, 0-3) continues its American Athletic Conference road weekend at Connecticut (2-5-3, 0-1). Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.

The Pirates are on the hunt for their first AAC win of the season after losing their third-straight match Thursday night, 1-0, at Temple. Connecticut is 0-1 in league play following a 1-0 loss to Cincinnati on Thursday.

In four meetings, the Huskies lead the series 4-0. Last time the two met, Connecticut defeated ECU 2-1 on Oct. 30, 2016.

ECU is led by Courtney Cash who has a team-high five goals and two assists for 12 points. Cashlin Copley, Ashley Kendrot and Annah Lindberg all join her with multiple goals this season. Michelle Newhouse holds a 1.15 goals against average with 42 saves in 1,014 minutes of action. The Pirates average 10.8 shots per game and 1.17 goals per game while holding opponents to a .477 shot on goal percentage.

Connecticut's leading scorer is Kess Elmore who has five goals and an assist for a team-best 11 points this season. Only one other Husky, Vivien Beil, has had multiple goals this season. Goalkeeper Mollie Kerrigan is 2-4-3 with a 1.21 goals against average and 36 saves in 895 minutes. The Huskies are 1-3-1 at home in 2017. Â
