Fifth-ranked Wichita State won its sixth consecutive game and 10th straight on the road with a 95-60 victory over ECU inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum Thursday.

ECU led 14-9 eight minutes into the game before the Shockers went on a 21-4 run over a six-minute stretch to take a 30-18 lead with 5:51 remaining before halftime and led by 22 at the break, 45-23. The Pirates never cut their deficit under double figures the remainder of the game.

Senior B.J. Tyson posted his sixth-consecutive double-figure scoring game and lead ECU with 16 points … Tyson also grabbed four rebounds and handed out a pair of assists.
