COLUMBIA, S.C. --- The ECU men and women's swimming and diving teams each posted a 1-2 dual meet record at the South Carolina Collegiate Invitational this weekend with both teams registering wins over Wingate and suffering losses to Queens (NC) and South Carolina.

- Seniors Matt Mullen (279.50) and Taylor Berkey (255.10) finished second and third, respectively in the men's one-meter diving competition.
- Mullen (321.00) also finished second on three-meter springboard with freshman Devin Nugent (316.25) taking third.
- Senior Julie Lajoie (2:04.86) captured second-place in the women's 200-yard IM, finishing just 0:00.14 behind event winner Albury Higgs of South Carolina.
- Lajoie (2:03.61) also touched third in the women's 200-yard butterfly.
- Freshman Gavin Erdmann (21.15) claimed third-place in the men's 50-yard freestyle, missing second-place by 0:00.24 and first-place by 0:00.29.
- Senior Logan Graumann (57.00) captured second-place in the women's 100-yard backstroke.
- Senior Vendela Norrman (2:19.78) finished second in the women's 200-yard breaststroke.
- The Pirates finished third in the women's 400 medley relay and 200 and 400 freestyle relay; the men finished third in the men's 200 medley relay.
