ATLANTA --- Members of the ECU swimming and diving team set three school records and registered two NCAA B qualifying times Saturday on the final day of competition at the Georgia Tech Invitational.
Freshman diver Mary Warker posted a new varsity record on the platform with a score of 202.05, best Katie Yamomoto's 2011 mark of 196.50.
Freshmen Eric Hinerup established a new ECU freshman record in the 100-yard freestyle (44.50) as did Marek Osina in the 200-yard backstroke (1:46.83).
Sophomore Jacek Arentewicz and junior Lily West each posted NCAA B qualifying times in the 200-yard breaststroke with Arentewicz finishing second overall and West placing ninth.
The Pirates will compete next at the USA Winter Nationals Event in Greensboro. The event will be held Nov. 28 – Dec. 1.
