News & Notes

ECU finished ahead of two teams ranked in the Golfstat Top-30 (No. 29 Marquette and No. 20 Kentucky).
Sophomore Blake Taylor posted his second top-15 finish of the season, carding a 54-hole 2-over-par 215 (69-76-70) to tie for 14th. Taylor shot under-par in the first and third round. His 215 matched his lowest tournament score of the year.
Senior Tim Conover posted his fifth and sixth rounds of the season at par or better with a 2-under 69 in round one and a par-71 in round three.
Freshman Tim Bunten made his ECU debut with final score of 229.
No. 16 Clemson won the team title by one stroke over No. 8 Oklahoma with a score of 2-over-par 854 (284-286-284).
Alabama's Lee Hodges captured medalist honors with a 7-under-par 206 (67-68-71).
